Marcia  Noisette Wood is from the low country of Charleston, South Carolina.  A  communications degree from Winthrop University prepared her for several  marketing and creative jobs in the Los Angles area working for Lorimar  Telepictures, Walt Disney, and Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG).

For  the past 20 years, her focus has expanded from managing the creative  process to graphic design and writing. She’s currently Director of  Product Development at Shades of Color and freelance writer and graphic  designer doing business as NoisetteInk.  It is through this business  that she has done layout, writing and graphic design for book authors,  university marketing and writing about significant American historical  events.  She’s excited to partner with AK Classics on Yummy Healthy  Tasties in My Tummy as a graphic designer and illustrator - her first  foray into the Children’s book arena.
